Melissa Prandi

CEO & Founder of The Melissa Prandi Children Foundation

Melissa went on a Rotary international trip for H2OpenDoors while also delivering Save a Girl Hygiene Kits in Uganda. Melissa was so moved by the need to protect and help children and women in Uganda and her life was changed forever. Melissa went home to USA and founded The Melissa Prandi Children Foundation in partnership with Rotarian Ugandans.

Melissa is a Marin County California native and has lived in Marin County her entire life. She is regularly recognized for her generosity and passion to give back to her community and beyond. In April of 2023, Melissa received the City of San Rafael & San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Public Service Award.

Melissa has served on the boards of many non-profit organizations and chambers of commerce such as Hospice By the Bay, Marin Fair Housing Authority, Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael and the business advisory board for Bank of Marin. Melissa is a big supporter and sponsor of Giving Marin, 100 Marin as well as many other local charities.

Melissa is currently serving as the President of the Women’s Leadership Philanthropy Council based out of Dominican University.

Previously serving as the President of The Rotary Club of Mission San Rafael, Melissa is currently the club membership chair where she was recognized for bringing in and sponsoring more than 25 members.

Melissa is President & CEO of Prandi Property Management Inc. for over 41 years.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her infant grandson, walks in the sunshine and spending time by the beach in Mexico.
